We are a proud supporter of Chefs for Oceans and were excited to be part of the Regina event held this past weekend at Crave Kitchen and Wine Bar and also the Saskatoon event, held this past Sunday at Ayden Kitchen and Bar. Chef Ned Bell has been on an awareness journey across Canada to educate people and increase accessibility to healthy lakes, oceans, and rivers and sustainable seafood. This journey has had him biking across Canada, holding events in major cities with local chefs and restaurants and when all is said and done he will have held about 20 events in his trek from coast to coast.
In Saskatoon, guests were treated to delicious recipes featuring seafood from Ayden, Prairie Harvest Cafe, and the Night Oven Bakery, as well as tasty dishes featuring our Three Farmers camelina oil and our new roasted chickpeas. We thoroughly enjoyed meeting and talking to everyone that night and hearing how much you love our products. As leaders in the Farm to Fork movement and being committed to sustainable farming, we were happy to lend our support to Chefs for Oceans and the quest to educate people on sustainable seafood practices.
Chef Ned Bell loved the support received here in Saskatchewan for the cause and was featured on CTV Saskatoon's morning show today. He made a delicious Tuna Nicoise Salad using Three Farmers camelina oil and our roasted chickpeas for that added crunch on top of his salad.
