About Us
Our Story
It all started one late night in a Canadian, small town curling rink. A few hours of farmer talk, one whiskey too many, and a dream to take our Canadian grown products to market took root. Of course, we had no idea what we were getting into. How hard could it be?! We had a love for Canadian land, a love for wholesome Canadian food and the passion to share our Canadian farmer roots with the rest of the world.
Fast forward a decade or so later and we couldn't be more proud of how far we have come. We have learned so much about the land we tend, the food we grow and the people we feed.
Three Farmers, Two Sisters, One Vision
Three Farmers believes that everyone should have wholesome food to eat, with an understanding of where it comes from and how it’s made. We are real farmers committed to preserving the land through sustainable growing practices and providing nourishing foods grown on family farms.
We are a real deal family business with THREE FARMERS and TWO SISTERS at the heart. Bonded by a shared desire to connect consumers to the farmers who grow their food, we are committed to:
- Healthy and wholesome food with natural, quality ingredients.
- Ensuring our products are responsibly and sustainably grown and made.
- Inviting our customers to trace the goodness, openly sharing how our Roasted Chickpeas are grown and made.
- Supporting, celebrating and engaging with our communities and neighbours.
Powered by Plant Protein and Full of Goodness
Did you know that Canada is one of the largest producers and exporters of pulses for the entire world. Grain legumes such as beans, peas, lentils and chickpeas are all part of the great big Canadian Pulse family. Naturally nutritious and great immune boosters, pulses are a great source of plant protein, fibre, vitamins and minerals.
Pulses also benefit our planet and soils. On our farms, these incredibly important plants help add nitrogen to the soil, which is a key ingredient to producing healthy crops (food) and sustaining the health of the soil for generations to come.
